WTF’s Hadley Trueman recognised with an Erewash Civic Voluntary Award – well done Hadley!

Our own Hadley Trueman was recognised at the Erewash Civic Voluntary Awards held by Erewash Borough Council with a richly deserved award for his fantastic contribution to our community!

As Hadley reflected…..

“On March 20th, I attended the 2026 Erewash Civic Voluntary Awards, which had been absent for many years. I feel honoured to have been recognised, nominated and subsequently the recipient of the Youth Work Volunteer category.

I feel extremely grateful to have been selected for my voluntary work over the past few years at The Will Garvey Trust Foundation, especially for my Trustee, Fundraising and 45 club roles.

Thank you to the team at Erewash Borough Council and Mayor Harry Atkinson for a wonderful ceremony and for giving me a platform to share more about the brilliant work our charity carries out.”

And here below is the commendation from Erewash Borough Council.
