Welcome to our website. Use the menu above or the sections below to begin navigating around our site. We hope you find our site useful and please contact us too, we’d love to hear from you. Importantly if you need support right now or want to help someone else, use our purple ‘need support’ bubbles to go to the pages where we will signpost you to valuable resources that can help you.
We want to tell you lots of things about who we are ; starting with Will’s story, then covering our purpose and why we are here as well as our goals for the Will Garvey Trust Foundation and of course, showing the members of our team. Click the speech bubble above to get started or the links (here in bold green).
If you are not feeling so good right now or you are concerned about someone then click on one of the “Help” buttons above. Whether its sadness, loneliness, depression, anxiety, stress or any other scary feeling, then we want to help with signposts to resources (videos, podcasts, reading materials and groups) that can be beneficial; and in particular, signposts to teams who can be contacted (by phone, text or online), who will listen and talk and provide more personalised support and guidance. There are resources and people that really can make a difference.
We want to tell you about what we do using our funds raised. Here we show you our successes and plans for the future from the initiatives we have undertaken or started. There is much to tell you. Click the speech bubble above to learn more or the links (in bold green).
We will also share with you our fundraising activities, both past events and upcoming events and highlight our signature event – Willfest ! These events are fun, well-organised and well-supported by our community. And they raise the cash necessary to enable us to do our work. Click the speech bubble above for more information.
There are many ways for you to get involved with us. From donating and raising funds for WTF to volunteering or simply using Easyfundraising when you shop . And of course, talking with your friends, family and colleagues to check in and make sure they are ok. Click the speech bubble above to learn more about all these ways to get involved with us.
We want to give a big ‘shout out’ to our WTF friends, those who have supported us in different ways and partnered with us to help get our message out there in our community – “Why Talking Fixes“. Click the speech bubble above to find out more about our friends.
