So special to run the Robin Hood half marathon for WTF

Together we did it !

From Jodie Cook:

On Sunday 28th September along with thousands of others I ran the Robin Hood Marathon with others from WTF. This was my second half marathon and very special for three reasons  Firstly,  because I am a Nottingham girl and secondly, because I was running for the Will Garvey Trust Foundation – to raise funds for suicide prevention and mental health awareness. And lastly, beacuse I got to do it with my 19 year old son Charlie (well when I say do it technically we weren’t actually together!)

Despite a niggling right leg injury and having had a bonkers month with other big events for the charity I managed to complete the course in a respectable 2 hours 30 mins. Watch this space for more Jodie challenges to raise vital funds to get young people talking about their mental health.

Thanks to everyone who donated.
