WTF’s Hadley Truman writes a blog article for ‘Linking Hope: Strength in Suicide Prevention’ about his experiences and his beneficial relationship with ‘volunteering’

Linking Hope Blog provides insight into Hadley’s experiences, challenges and ways forward. Insightful!

As told by Linking Hope:
Meet the brilliant Hadley!!
Hadley told us his story to encourage other young people to get into volunteering, and explained how he had equally benefitted from volunteering as well as being the one receiving support.

Hadley said:
“Seeking peer support and clinical help shifted my mindset entirely, it’s not about trying to completely get over a traumatic life event or just wishing the intrusive thoughts would stop but instead learning to live with coping strategies that suited me personally which make day to day life a little bit easier”.
