WTF ’45 Club’ is officially a Mental Health Friendly Club !

Great news about our ’45 Club’

By Hadley Trueman:

We’re proud to announce our 45 club recently gained Mental Health Friendly Club status by enrolling on the programme with Erewash Voluntary Action (& their Mental Health Team) alongside Active Derbyshire.

The programme supports sports and physical activity clubs across Derbyshire to create safe, supportive and inclusive environments for adults and young people.

Delivered in collaboration with Active Derbyshire, this programme strengthens the clubs already in-play building confidence, connection and community, by placing mental wellbeing at the front of their medium.

Our 45 club is committed to being supportive, inclusive and understanding. It promotes open conversations about health and ensures members feel valued when participating or having downtime.

Why does it matter? For many people, their sports club is a trusted space and vital support network. By becoming a Mental Health Friendly Club, we help; to reduce stigma, encourage early support, strengthen club culture and protect the wellbeing of members and volunteers.
