Nottingham Business School students report – a catalyst for moving forward
Thank you to Angela and the team from Nottingham Business School at Nottingham Trent University. Here’s what Angela said about the project.
“Over the years, I’ve organised hundreds of student projects and watched dozens of team presentations, but – somehow – one I watched today hit differently in a powerful way. 🧠
A team of our MSc Economics students collaborated with the Will Garvey Trust Foundation, working to support its mission of helping young people avoid suicidal ideation.
The students explored the economic and social impacts of suicide on communities, they sourced and analysed data, applied economic models, and developed thoughtful, evidence-based recommendations. Their insights could potentially support the Foundation’s future funding applications and ongoing advocacy.
I’m feeling incredibly proud of what our students can achieve.
