Momentum Recruitment and Training Group donate to Will Garvey Trust Foundation

Momentum Recruitment Supports the Will Garvey Trust Foundation Through Community Donation

Through Match My Project, a digital platform that connects local businesses with community organisations, we have just received a new flip chart. This donation will help us with supporting our workshops, presentations, and community events.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Momentum Recruitment and Training Group for this donation! Core costs of a charity often are overlooked but they are very important as they allow us to do what we do.

If you would like to learn more about Momentum Recruitment and the donation made, below is a case study with more details.

Momentum Recruitment has strengthened its commitment to creating positive social value across the East Midlands by donating a flip chart to the Will Garvey Trust Foundation, helping the charity continue its vital work supporting young people’s mental health and suicide prevention.

The donation forms part of Momentum Recruitment’s ongoing social value programme, which focuses on supporting voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations operating across the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) area. By providing practical support and resources, Momentum aims to help local organisations maximise their impact within the communities they serve.

The Will Garvey Trust Foundation was established following the tragic loss of Will Garvey, who died by suicide at the age of 20. The charity works to create “talking communities” where young people feel supported to discuss their mental health openly. Through early intervention programmes, wellbeing workshops, school-based initiatives, mental health resources and suicide prevention awareness activities, the Trust helps young people, families and communities access the support and information they need. The organisation’s mission is to reduce stigma around mental health and help prevent suicide through education, conversation and community engagement.

The newly donated flip chart will support the Trust’s workshops, presentations and community sessions, enabling staff and volunteers to engage more effectively with young people and community groups across the region.

Audrey Champetier, Managing Director of Momentum Recruitment, said: “As a business, we recognise that our success is linked to the strength and wellbeing of the communities in which we operate. It is important that we put something back into the community and support organisations that are making a real difference to people’s lives. The work carried out by the Will Garvey Trust Foundation is incredibly important, and we are pleased to be able to contribute in a small way to help them continue supporting young people and promoting positive mental health.”

Momentum Recruitment is committed to delivering meaningful social value alongside its business activities, working with local partners and community organisations to provide practical support where it is most needed. The donation reflects the company’s wider commitment to supporting VCSE organisations that are tackling social challenges and improving outcomes for residents across the East Midlands.

The Will Garvey Trust Foundation continues to work with schools, youth organisations and local communities to empower young people, promote emotional wellbeing and create environments where conversations about mental health can take place safely and openly. Through partnerships and community support, both organisations hope to contribute to stronger, healthier and more connected communities across the region.
