WTF are certainly have an impact in our local communities
Last week, our CEO was invited by the Mayor of Erewash to attend the Erewash Borough Council’s July meeting.
During the Mayor’s report to the council he referred to several events that had impacted him since taking office including his visit to the Erewash CVS summer event in July at Long Eaton Rugby Club where he met our CEO, Joanna. They chatted for quite some time about WTF, suicide prevention, and young people. The Mayor then promised to support WTF in any way he can.
At the end of his report he presented Joanna with an award for the work she is doing to prevent young suicide. It is such a special thing to be recognised in this way and to know the charity’s work is not going unnoticed.
