WTF Awareness & Profile

Building our Network

Initiative purpose:

These Awareness sessions have two aims – firstly to enable WTF to grow our network both locally and wider with similar organisations and also with other groups that can help and support us; and secondly, to increase the recognition of WTF and ‘why we are here’ by our local community and other local organisations and charities. This networking will then support us in pursuit of all our WTF goals .

Supported goals:

Work with local organisations and groups to improve attitudes towards mental health and to implement early intervention programs

Improve access to information and resources to support mental fitness

Be a visible, proactive, and positive presence in our communities

What are we doing:

We raise awareness of WTF with individuals, groups and communities, in a number of ways:

1.Events we organise and hold to involve the community

     2. Attendance at local events organised by others

     3. Speaking engagements with other groups/communities.

     4. Membership of umbrella organisations

     5. Attendance at Local, Regional and National conferences

     6. Direct networking with other organisations and groups

All of these different routes give WTF visibility and opportunity to promote our Charity and what we do.

For examples from each category, please open the twistie below.
