Success for WTF in the Tesco Groundwork Community Grant scheme, to help us hold Mental Health Awareness workshops in 2022

Success for WTF in the Tesco Groundwork Community Grant scheme, to help us hold Mental Health Awareness workshops locally

Exciting news!

A community grant, for a community project, from a community minded business.  Thank you, Tesco, for supporting our little charity in doing what we can to make a difference in the lives of young people.

Remember all those times you put the blue tokens in the boxes at your local Tesco last year? Well, because you did that so often, we came first! Which means we receive 100% of the funding we requested: £850.00!

Every penny will be used to help us in delivering our Mental Health Awareness Workshops at local sport and community groups. It will pay for all the resources and materials we need for the next twelve months.

We’re really looking forward to working with Nutbrook Cricket Club, and West Hallam Junior Football Club, and continuing to work with Ilkeston Rugby Club and Voyager Explorer Scouts, in the forthcoming months.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote: it means a lot.

If you would like to find out more about the Awareness Workshops please get in touch at: info@willgarveytrustfoundation.org.uk, and we can tell you all about the project.
