We enjoyed the first Quiz Night to be held at the Stute, home of the ‘Elks’ Ilkeston RUFC – and what a night it was!
Despite many of the Stute’s regulars leaving right after the Rugby International had finished (lesson learned there), there were still a few left who joined in with the fantastic turn out of our regulars quizzers.
There was a really good buzz in the room, and being on a Sunday evening seemed to go down well: a great distraction form the Sunday evening blues.
With a fab selection of raffle prizes again, and a couple of card games, we managed to raise £280.00 towards the wellbeing libraries. A fantastic result! Thanks to everyone who came down to support us and thanks to Ilkeston RUFC and especially Carol and Gordon (pictured above) for hosting us and providing supper, that was very much appreciated.
