Lees Brook Community School non-uniform day raises £637 for WTF
I recently met the School Council at Lees Brook and introduced WTF and explained what the Wellbeing Library offered. The students were really interested in the library project and had lots of questions and some helpful suggestions too! Some of them have a particular interest in mental health and emotional wellbeing and were keen to support our project. As part of this they arranged a non-uniform day at the end of the Winter term, just before they broke up for Christmas, and raised £637.40. It means so much when young people themselves can see the value in fundraising and will see the benefits of it directly in their school. Thanks, Lees Brook. There’ll always be a place in my heart for you.
