What is AmazonSmile?
AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on amazon.co.uk. The difference is that when customers shop through the URL smile.amazon.co.uk, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of eligible purchases to the charitable organisations selected by customers.
How does AmazonSmile work?
In order to browse or shop through AmazonSmile, customers must first select a charitable organisation. Once they have chosen their charity they can shop the site as they normally would. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of the customer’s eligible purchases. Only purchases made through smile.amazon.co.uk are eligible to generate donations.
Is there any cost to charitable organisations or to customers?
No. There is no cost to charitable organisations or to AmazonSmile customers. The shopping experience is identical to amazon.co.uk with the added benefit that Amazon will donate to the charitable organisations selected by customers.

Now, when you next want to shop at Amazon, go to smile.amazon.co.uk rather than amazon.co.uk.
You will get exactly the same selection of products and the same low prices as via the regular Amazon site. The only difference is that the Will Garvey Trust Foundation will receive a 0.5% donation from Amazon.
