Derby Fans Twitter FC raise over £850 for WTF for the Wellbeing Libraries

Derby Fans Twitter FC organise and play a football match and raise over £850 for WTF – Thanks Ashley!

One young man who had taken part in the WTF Charity Football Match with Football 4 Charities in June was inspired to set up a football match of his own with a group of friends. Ashley represents Derby Twitter FC (being a die hard Forest fan, I’m not sure what Will would think about this – lol) and arranged the match taking on a WTF V1. The match was held at Mickleover FC Sports Club on a bitterly cold November evening though I’ve got to say it was worth it – it was a great game, and the venue was fab.

The event raised over £850 and will be used to support the WTF Wellbeing Libraries.

Word on the ground is that this might become a regular fixture so we’re looking forward to more matches.

Thanks to all the lads who took part, and to everyone who supported them in sponsorship, and all those who braved the freezing weather.
