Derby College benefit from WTF wellbeing workshops

WTF deliver second well received Wellbeing Workshop to Derby College at Broomfield Hall in June

‘WTF have had the best time working with students at DerbyCollege on the Pathways to Learning course.

Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been learning how to recognise our emotions, why talking matters, and how to ask for help.

The students were amazing and totally engaged in the activities and we shared some important lessons- that we can make a difference to the people around us and that kindness is key.

At the start of the second workshop Students were asked to think of two things they liked about themselves and when one student said she couldn’t think of anything another told her ‘I think you’re genuinely the kindest person here’.  Such a beautiful moment.

Another student proudly shared with me the drawings he’d been doing in the notebook we’d given him at the previous workshop and another has been practicing, and benefitting from, the breathing exercises we’d learned in the first workshop.

Thank you for inviting us to work with you- we’re really looking forward to seeing you again!’
