CPD workshop for Broomfield Hall staff, a successful event!

WTF deliver follow on CPD Workshop to Derby College at Broomfield Hall in July

As part of WTF’s mission of working with local organisations to improve attitudes, and access, to mental health information, we delivered a CPD workshop to the staff at Broomfield Hall, Derby College.

The two hour workshop aimed to enable staff to understand their role in supporting the mental health of their students and to explore ways they might improve their provision at an individual, classroom, and whole college level.

They were a fantastic group of 26 who offered a lot in discussions around: the difficulties staff experience on a day to day basis; the challenges of change; and also the impact on their own mental health.

I’m pleased to say that the IT worked, the videos all played, and the games all went to plan – so for me this was a huge bonus! I wish everywhere we went was so straightforward!

WTF are looking forward to being part of Broomfield Hall’s commitment to mental health and are excited to work with them again in the new academic year.

Thanks to Leeanne for inviting us and for organising.
