45 for 45 – The Gryphons raise £287 for Will Garvey Trust Foundation

Leeds Gryphons raise £287 for WTF

Will loved playing American Football and his time as linebacker for Leeds Gryphons whilst he was at Uni was something he looked forward to and he became club secretary in his second year. Since Will died the Gryphons have supported WTF in many ways and this year is no exception. Over the month of February, they had a 45 for 45 Challenge, during which they ran, or rowed, 45km. 45 was Will’s playing number so this was a perfect challenge and they raised an impressive £287! We love the fact we are still in touch with the team Will loved playing for and look forward to many adventures alongside the Gryphons in the future.
